Firefly have launched their new website today. The website reflects our ethos, standards, and what we aim to deliver to the customer – software – their way.

Firefly are happy to announce the appointment of Chris Wade as Technical Director.
Chris has been working in IT for over 20 years, and his experience in many sectors, and knowledge of both Web and Progress will enhance the offering and support that Firefly are able to provide to its customers.

Firefly are pleased to announce they have joined the Leeds, York & North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce. The Leeds Chamber of Commerce and York & North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce have recently merged to form the largest Chamber of Commerce in the region, which Firefly Computer Systems are proud to be a member of.

The British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) work with Government to shape policy affecting businesses, and focuses on key areas of activity including International Trade, Skills Development and Business Services.
The BCC also partners with leading organisations such as RBS, BT, and Microsoft to deliver the very best services and advice.
The BCC is the Ultimate Business Network. No other business organisation has the geographic spread of the BCC. Every Chamber sits at the very heart of its local business community providing representation, services, information and guidance to its members.

Due to Firefly’s continued growth, there has been a board re-structure. Rob Lyons has now been appointed as Managing Director and Michael Stoodley has been appointed as Projects Director.

New Staff – Firefly has appointed a new member of Staff. Chris Wade brings over 10 years Software Industry experience to Firefly, and will be working in the Development Team at our York Site.

“The Friends of Royal Albert Park”.
This website was created as part of an initiative by Science City York.
